ABOUT US
Albert Einstein Academies (AEA) is comprised of three high-performing public charter schools located near downtown San Diego, CA:
- Albert Einstein Academy Charter Elementary School (AEACES, grades K-5)
- Albert Einstein Academy Charter Middle School (AEACMS, grades 6-8)
- Albert Einstein Academy Charter High School (AEACHS, grades 9-12, opening fall 2027)
We are proud to offer the world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to all students. As free public charter schools we never charge tuition of any kind. The motto that distills our mission and vision is “Teaching our children today to advance our shared humanity tomorrow.”
International Baccalaureate Curriculum
AEA provides the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) and Middle Years Programme (IB MYP); Diploma Programme (IB DP) coming Fall 2026.
The IB is a world-wide framework that allow students ownership of their learning within a rigorous curriculum.
Our goal is to develop internationally minded students who strive towards the ten attributes known as the IB Learner Profiles.
German Language Program
In Elementary grade levels (kindergarten through fifth grade) students receive instruction in German and in English, including all core subjects. This model fosters language learning and cultural awareness.
Middle School grade levels (sixth through eighth) have opportunities to take German or Spanish language classes.
