Dear AEA Community,

We want to inform you that the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has thoroughly investigated the situation and determined that there is no credible threat to AEA or Logan Memorial Educational Campus. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we are confident that both campuses are secure.

Additionally, we understand that situations like these can cause concern or anxiety. We will offer counseling and support services to students who request it. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if your child needs assistance.

We wanted to inform you about a recent social media post and messages originating from the Logan Memorial Educational Campus (LMEC) that referenced a potential school shooting. We have promptly notified the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) about the situation.
 
At this time, there is no credible information to suggest a direct threat to AEA. SDPD is aware of the post and is actively investigating. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated if any new information arises.
