Dear AEA Community:

Our leadership team continues to monitor the approaching storm that is predicted to bring wind and rain to our region early tomorrow (Thursday) morning. The City of San Diego has recently issued an evacuation warning to people living in the floodplain areas in the following neighborhoods: Southcrest, Mountain View, Encanto, San Ysidro, Sorrento Valley, and Mission Valley. The city says the voluntary warning (which differs from an evacuation order) applies to low-lying areas that endured flooding on January 22.

At this time we plan to open AEA campuses at their regularly-scheduled times. In anticipation of wet and potentially hazardous road conditions please plan your commute accordingly.

Should plans change overnight we will communicate with you via email, social media, and text message.

Nuestro equipo de liderazgo continúa monitoreando la tormenta que se pronostica traerá viento y lluvia a nuestra región temprano mañana (jueves) por la mañana. La Ciudad de San Diego ha emitido recientemente una advertencia de evacuación para las personas que viven en las áreas propensas a inundaciones en los siguientes vecindarios: Southcrest, Mountain View, Encanto, San Ysidro, Sorrento Valley y Mission Valley. La ciudad menciona que la advertencia voluntaria (que difiere de una orden de evacuación) se aplica a las áreas bajas que experimentaron inundaciones el 22 de enero.

En este momento, planeamos abrir los campus de AEA en sus horarios regulares. En previsión de condiciones de carretera húmedas y potencialmente peligrosas, les pedimos que planifiquen sus desplazamientos en consecuencia.

Unser Führungsteam überwacht weiterhin den sich nähernden Sturm, der voraussichtlich morgen früh (Donnerstag) Wind und Regen in unsere Region bringen wird. Die Stadt San Diego hat kürzlich eine Evakuierungswarnung für Personen in den Überschwemmungsgebieten in den folgenden Vierteln herausgegeben: Southcrest, Mountain View, Encanto, San Ysidro, Sorrento Valley und Mission Valley. Die Stadt gibt an, dass die freiwillige Warnung (die sich von einer Evakuierungsanordnung unterscheidet) für tiefliegende Gebiete gilt, die am 22. Januar Überschwemmungen erlebt haben.

Zu diesem Zeitpunkt planen wir, die AEA-Campussen zu den regulären Zeiten zu öffnen. In Erwartung von nassen und potenziell gefährlichen Straßenverhältnissen bitten wir Sie, Ihre Pendelroute entsprechend zu planen.
